Windows XP Setup
Click the Start Menu and select Control Panel.
Click Network and Internet Connections.
Click Set up or change your Internet connection.
In Internet Properties, with the Connections tab selected, Click Setup...
This will open up the New Connection Wizard, click Next.
Select Connect to the Internet, Click Next
Select Set up my connection manually, Click Next
Select Connect using a dial-up modem, Click Next
Type Team-TNT in the ISP Name box, Click Next
Type in your Local Team-TNT dialup number, Click Next
In the User name field, type in one of the following settings:
(This will be based on the type of service you ordered)
| California Plus | your user name@team-tnt (without the .com) |
| National Basic | your user name.team-tnt@dialusa |
| National Plus | your user name.team-tnt@anywhere |
Type in your Password(twice)
Uncheck Turn on Internet Connection Firewall for this connection.
Leave all other settings as is, as shown above, Click Next
Check Add a shortcut to this connection to my desktop, Click Finish.
Go to your Desktop and double click Team-TNT
Be sure these settings are correct for you, then click Properties
Click the Networking tab, Select Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)
and Click Properties.
Click Use the following DNS server addresses:
and type in these numbers as shown above
216.98.128.70 and 216.98.138.70
Click OK (twice). Close the window.
To connect to the Internet:
Launch either a browser or an email program
Internet Explorer or Outlook Express for example,
This connect window should appear.
Click Connect.
If you check the Connect automatically box,
the next time you launch an internet program
you will automatically connect to the internet.
When you exit your internet programs,
Windows XP will ask you if you want to disconnect.
or
Double click on the Team-TNT icon on your Desktop
and in the Connect Team-TNT window, click Dial.
